How to care

Caring for Your Jewelry

Your jewelry is more than an accessory – it holds meaning, memories and value. With mindful care, you can preserve its and ensure it lasts for generations.

Protect your jewelry from chemicals.

Always remove your jewelry before exposure to:

• Cleaning agents

• Perfumes or lotions

• Makeup and hair products

• Chlorine or saltwater

• Harsh soaps

Natural gems like opals, pearls, and turquoise are especially sensitive and should be handled with extra care.

Take it off during certain activities.

To avoid scratches, dents, or loosening of stones, remove your jewelry before:

• Sleeping

• Showering or swimming

• Exercising or lifting heavy items

• Gardening, cleaning, or manual work

If in doubt, it’s safer to take it off and store it securely.

Store it with care.

Keep each piece separate in a soft-lined box, pouch, or case to prevent tangling and surface scratches. Avoid storing multiple items together where they may rub against one another.

Clean it gently.

A soft toothbrush, warm water, and mild soap (such as a gentle dish soap) will help keep your jewelry sparkling. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Note: Opals and other delicate stones should never be cleaned in ultrasonic machines.
